I recently bought everything I need to convert to an 87 setup from BWeavy, and I need to inventory it and get back to him. The majority of it is in 2 boxes, dismantled. I sold my 86 3 years ago so my memory is a little rusty. I found the intake diagram on gnttype.org, but I can't find the other stuff like I/C brackets and what not.
I wouldn't say I am in over my head, but by gosh, I'm darned close, LOL. I know I have a Haynes or Lyman manual around here somewhere, but that is another problem altogether. I need at least 4 hours of time to straigthen my garage out before I even get started. :frown:
On the plus side, I got a nice 50,000 mile engine from Bweavy, and had him put a 204/214, and lifters in it. I got a new front cover, oil pump, timing set as well and before I even start it up I will have his 3" downpipe, an adjustable fuel regulator, new fuel pump (hotwired), and hooker exhaust. I don't know if I will have the injectors, stock location 23 row I/C or chip by then, but I'm optimistic.
**Also, for anyone that has done this, is it easier/better to replace the entire fuel line, or put a filter elsewhere?
