Also, is the "pour it in the up-pipe" method required, or can we suck the stuff into the engine through a vacuum line like any other car?

Thanks!

i used GM top engine cleaner. never heard of seafoam tho. i poured it in the up pipe a little bit at a time til i had about 1/3 of a can left. then i poured the rest in and it died. i let it sit for 15 mins and it took a couple tries to start it up but man when i got it running boy did it smoke up the neighborhood for like 30 mins:D
seemed to help a bit and was worth the $5 or so i paid for it. when pouring it keep one hand on the can and one hand on the throttle ot keep the engine from dying. this stuff will kill the engine w/only a little amount. i say go ahead and try it it cant hurt. im glad i got 15 yrs. worth of carbon outta my engine.

I found the seafoam at napa and tried it with good results from what I could see of the piston through the spark plug hole.

I used a can of the stuff and it did wonders soo much carbon was blown out and I noticed the difference immediatly after I was done smoking.
