I found the following OBD-II laptop scanners on the web
http://www.obd-2.com/ and
http://www.obddiagnostics.com/
A coworker let me borrow his $182 TRICOM cable from the ODB-2 website. I was able to check out the service engine lights on my 95 s-10 blazer and 98 caravan and reset them to see if they came back. It was a pretty nice tool with pretty good graphics that I was thinking about getting until I found the other site.
Has anyone tried the set up from the Obddiagnostics site and have an opinion on it. The $88 package is a great price. The beta release of their windows software looks pretty nice, but the DOS version is pretty ugly. I would have to use the DOS version until replace my 486 laptop.
Thanks
David
