Lots of people out there that do things that don't make any sense. I sold off all of my original stuff on my GN when making mods but it IS a GN not a GNX. I don't care about the next guy when it comes to my GN but a GNX, I would definetly keep all the original stuff IF I modded one.

I'd like to think a guy would want and can afford a GNX would either do the work himself or have the cash to pay someone to work on it. Exchanging stock parts for labor sounds fishy.

hmm.. Someone local needs to verify these parts . I would imagine there is some way to identify the car they came from.

You could just ask the guy for the name and # of the alleged owner. If his story is true he shouldn't have any problem with you verifying it.
