Anybody ever........

A guy I work with has talked about using "circle track" slicks, he can get a slighly used pair for $40. Anybody ever tried these or know anything about them, i.e. could you heat them up and would they hook?

There was a thread on this about 1-2 weeks ago. I'm not sure what it was called. Do a search on "McCreary" and it should come up. There may be some more answers in there also..
