Anybody running 30lb injectors with a bigger turbo ?

If someone is how much boost are you running without knock? I am running 15lb of boost with a retard of 1-6 I just upgraded my fuel pump to a walbro 340 but still have some knock 1-4 my hot wire will get put on tomorrow. My scanmaster shows 12.5 at WOT and 13.2 at idle is this ok or do I need a new alt. I think I am going to run my car at the track tomorrow and see what it will run WITHOUT THE INTERCOOLER last time with the IC was 14.02 with tranny slipping because the TV cable broke. THE car still feels real strong without IC.
 
I have 30#ers and only run about 11 maybe 12 #'s. I still get knock too, but I think I have other issues. I still managed a 14.2@96 even with the low boost/knock/exhaust leak/ and bald tires.

Why'd you take off the IC?
 
I took my IC off because my idle problems were killing me after it was off I have had no problems with it at idle or dying out. I did not take my car to the track today because it rained. My brother is down to visit and he got my hotwire on today and a new alt. the car works great the knock problem is pretty much solved after the fuel and alt upgrade I change the spark pluges from CR43 to NGK UR5's and the TV cable was not adjusted right !! The tranny TV cable and alternator I think was a big thing to blame on my Knock issue I think. My car is about 16lbs of boost and about 0-1.5 retard now with the o2volts about 780 I am going to up the fuel pressure a little tomorrow and do more test runs.
 
I run the 30 lb injectors in my turbo Riviera and like them. It runs 21 psi boost on the stock turbo and run 13.60's at sea level non intercooled and a stock motor. They don't seem to run out of steam on mine. I like them alot. They idle well. Only complaint is that when my O2 sensors foul from leaded fuel, it really messes up my spark plugs. This I think is due to using a bigger injector with a stock chip. Sort of makes it go from bad to worse. But I rarely run the O2 plugged in anyway.
 
I hope my car gets 13.60 all the money I have spent. I got some knock again at 16lbs KR>4 I forgot I had xylene in the tank, on pump I am 14lbs with little retart today.
 
You'll really see HP gains once you get that turbo wound up. My car doesn't start making power until it hits 17 psi. from 17-21 it changes about 5 tenths.

Are you still running a stock clutch fan? If so, punt that thing. I've found it's worth about 2 tenths. Most of which comes in the first 60 feet.

We did a stock buildup on a friends '84 t-type and it went 13.97 @ 98 at 4400 ft. elevation. Only mods were slicks, 9.5" lockup converter, electric fan, 20 psi boost, K&N Filter and open exhaust.

Tuned you've got WAY faster than 13.60's.
 
I am getting 009's this week hopefully. I want more boost without knock ! This should help me out right ??
