My 1996 Monte Carlo Z34 has a wiring problem

No instrument lights or parking lights...

Thought it was the headlamp switch and replaced it with no luck

All the fuses are good, bulbs ok ??
Driving me crazy:mad:

Well, since instrument lights come on with park lamps, I'd say you do in fact have a blown fuse, or the feed for the park lamp circuit has an open somewhere. If you can wait till monday, I can look at a schematic at work and get back to you.

I think your right about the open

There are 3 fuse boxes on this car..
Passenger side compartment, Driver side engine compartment,
& passenger side engine compartment.

The drivers side engine has a fuse for parking lamps,
checked OK with a meter...(actually checked all fuses for sanity)

Had to put a hold on troubleshooting since it started pouring
and the GN and a shed kit are filling up the garage...

Ill post back either way with what i find this weekend, I may need your help offer with a print check... thanks

well i finally got around to researching this problem....

The problem was corrosion on the 12V bus on the bottom of the fuse box on the drivers side...

one for the toolbox Jim...
