Hey there I have a weird knock issue, I will get KR (between 0.5 to 1.5) in drive mid way through boost 11 to 12 psi. But when I shift to OD same speed WOT and Mid boost as in drive I rarely get KR. I reckon it should be the opposite as OD puts more load on the engine from my understanding.

transmission shifts ok and doesn't slip. About a week ago I did a low boost launch and the transmission puked out a bunch of fluid:eek: to my relief it still shifts fine and doesn't slip would anyone know where to start to track down the culprit.

Transmission is a 2004r rebuilt last year, has some goodies from CK performance in it hardened drum and shaft I believe cant really remember what else went in it but some help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Does it happen as the tranny shifts or while in gear?

while in gear, I wish It was at shifts that would explain the small amount of audible knock if that was the case.

Just for shear noobness on my part. Have you checked plugs to rule them out? Have you checked your fuel? Does it rise 1 for 1 with boost? Got a hot wire kit and aftermarket fuel pump, or at least just a hotwire kit? What is your combo, what is currently installed in your '87 drivetrain? Where did the tranny fluid exit from?

stall 9inch art & carr, PT70 turbo 60lbs injector, Alky, 30 spline rear end,
champ irons, 30 over, 215 220 hyd roller and hotwire kit with walbro 340 just got the racetronix double pump today though:D as where the leak came from not sure my speculative guess would be the Torque converter. The plugs are new NGK iridium's have about 300miles on them at most and the fuel I cannot be sure of at this point I need a transducer to hook up to my powerlogger and I don't have the materials to mount the gauge on the hood for a temporary look see.
