Thats pretty wild, my guess is if those guys don't have the authority to enter a high speed chase then there isn't going to be much of a case, he recklessly endangered his life by entering the chase instead of calling the correct authorities for help. I mean if your running and some 'game official' tries to run you off the road and he looses control...well....I see another poll coming and we don't know all the circumstances.

Dunno about other states but here in VA a game wardon has just as much authority as the state law enforcement. They can and will pursue a suspect anywhere in thier state wheather it is on public roads, interstates, or a dirt road to a fishing spot.

Game wardens are federal agents, and don't necessarily need a warrant to come inside your house.

Sounds about right - high speed pursuit in a pickup.
