Yes better than stock setup if you use a 700r4 filter and modify the pan, but for the best setup check here.

I'm looking at the kit that Kirbans sells, is their filter the correct one and what mods need to be done to the pan in general. Also, between yours and the Art Carr unit which holds more fluid and would the fins on the AC have a substantial difference in cooling the tranny vs. your pan? Thanks
