Does anyone have an ATR rear swaybar off their car?

I am looking for the exact weight of it.

Thanks in advance!

ttt

i know when we put my buudy's on its heavy..
curious myself since im thinking of either one of them or going wolf

Paul-
Sorry I can't give you an exact weight, but a buddy of mine had one for his 90 Mustang, I believe it was 1 3/8. That thing had to weigh 40 lbs.

Seems like they are 25-26 lbs.

We are looking at making a tubular fabricated style swaybar. I am hoping to be around 20#, and be stronger than the atr piece, and fit :)

We are also making a wolf style upper control arm (anti-swaybar system). Should need NO welding :) and be streetable! :D
Got a prototype in testing, and looks good so far. Already have improvements going into the design to make them the best possible when available.

Hope to have all this going by Bristol event in Aug. Should be a good one! Can't wait.

THANKS!!!!! for all the help here. If anyone has an ATR bar they want to sell cheap or trade for one of ours when available, please let me know. That way I can do some side-by-side testing.
Thanks again!

Will this new sway bar work with your lower control arms that you currently sell? Also are these new upper control arms better than what you currently offer? I recently purchased both from you at Bowling Green and would hate to think that they are not the best available.

Our new control arm will fit stock arms and our new arms. The stock arms are actually just under 1.5 inch wide. Our new arms are 1.5" wide, which is slightly wider than stock. What we do is shift the round end tubes off center from the long rectangle tube. This keeps the same distance between the arms for a swaybar as stk. With solid type (not welded) arms, there is no shift off center, so swaybars can very tight. Also, by shoving the swaybar into a tighter space, it moves the arms apart. This wears & shears the sides of the poly bushings off, reducing the surface area available for the center tube to push against. The next thing that happens is the center tube pushes right thru & hits metal to metal. When this happens, the car feels way loose & is all over the track. Saw it happen on Dave Fiscus's car at Bristol.

When I say "new control arms" I mean new to you :)
Boxed lower control arms mean "boxed stockers to some & rectangle tube new ones to other people. So I say "new" meaning not boxed stockers. You have the best that we sell, which just happens to be the best available :D
