avatar changes

I wanted to change my avatar. I first deleted my old one and now I cannot figure out how to add a different one.


Can anyone help me out please?

If you go into the edit avatar section of the control panel, there should be a place to upload the new avatar from some place in your computer. If you have already tried this, perhaps its dimensions are too big?

I guess I really screwed up. To get rid of the old one I checked the box that said do not use an avatar. Now I cannot get rid of the green dot in that field to add a new one.

I go into the edit avitar area and there IS NO upload feature. I've been complaining about it being missing for over a year. I figured this new software would fix a lot of deficiencies.
Guess I was wrong.

I am not sure who helped me out and fixed my avatar but, thank you.

in that case, those having trouble should just pm a mod to do it for you.

I changed theavatar settings in the profile for all of you. You may upload or set your own avatars. Limit is 85x85 pixels with a 8500 bytes max.

WARNING: If you post an avatar with something not suitable for TB.com and it's rules, it will be deleted without warning.!!!! Make a note of it![/

but - it's saying 750 byte limit... i think you'd have to have an image about 10 x 10 pixels to get that small...

the smallest avatar in this thread alone is over 4000 bytes, biggest is over 8000. we4 - can you please bump the limits up to something usable???

because all the avitars on the board are measuring 30 -60k, 8500 byte limit ?
