B-17 in Addison Today

So they have a visiting B-17 at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum today giving rides. So I went out there to get some pics and videos.

When that thing parked right in front of me, I had to stop looking into the view finder because I was in absolute awe. It's a very intimitating plane when your right in front of it.

damn man, i can't wait to get back to my apt so i have high speed and can actually watch the Vids. B17s are badass planes. Since i can't watch the vids, did you actually get to go for a ride? The confederate Air Forces B17 "Texas Raiders" is always flying around over galveston and is a hell of sight to see. I was running on the beach one day and he passed overhead at a pretty low altitude, i was in awe.
