Backspacing & Slicks

Will a 4.5" backspacing work?? & if so what size slicks would I need to purchase.

4.5" backspacing is alot for TRs. That's what my GTA wheels are and I can barely fit 245s on it. 255s would probably rub the frame. To run a decent sized slick, you'll probably need something closer to 3.5" or 3.75". However, since I don't know first hand since I don't run slicks, maybe someone else will let you know what their combo is. I would imagine only a 9.5" slick would fit on a 4.5" backspaced wheel.

hmmmm isnt this TTA tech????? I used 4 1/2s on my old TTA years ago....dont remember if I had to use the old IROC wheel spacers or not.....

4.5 BS will be fine. Use a tire thats 26in tall and somewhere between 8-10 in wide and youll be fine.

FYI Im usuing 305/40's on stock rear wheels with no problems.
