Bad stumble at WOT help!!!

took the GN out for a drive today, decided to stomp on it on the way back home, around 60mph it started jerking for about 2 seconds then it finally took off, this has never happen before, so i decided to go at it again this time No stumble but i noticed that my boost would not go past 15psi and it held there solid, when initially i had it set to 21 psi, i went home checked all hoses and everything check out fine, the only thing I have done to the car was install the catalyc convertor to get the car smog, btw this is a new catalytic convertor so that rules out the plugged theory, another thing I noticed is I had my SMC alky pump set to speed of 9 which is where it was set before, anybody got any ideas what could be causing this problem, could a bad MAF cause this stumble, how do I test the MAF if its going bad, why did my boost dropp 6psi for no reason at all , thanks in advance and let the opinions begin..

take the cat off and you'll be back where you were.....even a new cat is a major restriction

the thing is..

even with the Cat on i was getting over 20 psi, So for you smart A@@###$, the cat is not the problem, something else is going on..
