battery killer

about a month ago i ran my battery down to nuthin at the track,then replaced it, it was all good, then bought and hooked up a scanmaster, shortly after the car wouldnt start, the battery is dead, i was wondering if it was due to the scanmaster, i hooked it up the way the instructions said to, me and a few buddies thought maybe it was due to something being grounded wrong draining the power, but i dont know, the reason i ask about the scanmaster is because other than the new battery, i have not messed with any other wiring on the car since.

If I'm reading right, your battery died once before the install of the Scanmaster? What kind of voltage is your alternator putting out?

im not sure, but i knwo i removed it, had checkers auto run a test on it, it passes, i even had him do it twice to make sure, ...passed both times.

Do you have a volt booster? That causes problems with battery drain (sometimes). Also do you have a power antenna? For some reason my power antenna (when hooked up) would drain the battery like crazy.
