What's the best wide band and easiest to hook up that will work with a Scanmaster and power logger ?

I use an AEM inline wideband. You can replace the sensor with a Bosch o2 sensor from an auto part store once it starts going bad. No calibration needed.

4 wires

*12 volt feed hooked up to fuse block
*Ground
*Wire to PL Analog box port 1
*Ground

Wideband recognized by PL.

Off the ad: All AEM digital gauges feature a 0-5v analog output for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system, such as the AEM EMS or FIC.

You use that output to the Powerlogger.

I seen the PLX , but i liked the idea of the brains being in the guage. That touchscreen on the PLX looks sweet though.

I like my AEM inline as its compact and I use my SM to read my AFR readings from my PL
