Is a NAPA Wix 1049 compatible with RJC oil filter adapter?
I have their list of filters that can be used. The NAPA 1258 is short.
The Purolator PL3005 is longer.

The 1049 NAPA Wix (not listed) is the same length as the Purolator, has the same gasket and compatible threads.

Is there any reason it can't be used? I want the longest, highest quality filter avail.

Thank you for your input.

You want the biggest, highest quality? Then go with the Baldwin B9

Thanks for the input,Turbo Dave.

Where is the best place to get that filter? I sure hope I'm not opening another which-is-best oil filter discussion!

Btw..I really like those Westach gauges.

They're sometimes hard to find because they are designed for industrial/ag. usage.

Yes, the westach gauges are top notch quality. They're an aircraft gauge company and as such no gauge leaves the factory without top notch aircraft level of calibration.

Amazon.com Grainger supply or other industrial suppliers, look for free super saver shipping for orders over $25.

B9's are great. Make sure you get the LL (or whatever it's called). The short fat one may rub against your intercooler bracket and be hard to put on and take off. It did on mine. I also use the Mobil 1 M1-203 which you can get via Amazon.
