It fits nice. My car was alittle more of a challenge because I have a bar that goes just above the driveshaft tunnel behind the console. I had to flex the floor down and pull the carpet through. I have installed the non backed carpet on 2 other cars without cages, and it fits like factory. It is lighter.
What type of carpet is actually factory? I lifted mine and just found the pile carpet with a very thin rubberized backing and nothing in between, no jute. This was at the edge by rear door jam. Is the rubberized actually worth an extra $70 after shipping? Couldn't one just spray a moisture resistant barrier that would be a bit tacky for non-slippage? Just wondering. Looking to replace carpet this spring.
