Literally! I went to pick up some more aircraft stripper to get the old spray bomb paint job (overspray and all) off my used TTA wheels. After seeing the price ($20/gal), I remembered that a cheap sand blaster was around $12 and a bag of play sand is $3. Considering that they're only TTA rims, I didn't think it would matter if I wrecked them. The one I did turned out pretty good. I blasted (almost) all the paint and all of the clear coat on the outer side. Seems like I used a lot of sand (50 lb bag) but I imagine its because of the lack of solid surface area.

Anything I should know about painting? Do I need heat-resistant? I have a paint gun, and plan to use a single stage paint. I'm going to finish 1 wheel before I ruin all of them ;)
