On my 86-

I have 42.5 injectors, RA93 chip.

I'm getting a funky dip in my BLM's. FP is set currently at 40 psi static.

At idle, my blm's are 135-140 range. But then at cruise, just off idle, with MAF readings 25 or less, they are down around 105-110. Just to check it I bumped up FP to 44, and the idle BLM's were tight around 128 but then the cruise BLM was pegged at 90 and the car was noticeably rich.

From these symptoms, what should I check first?

According to my Turbolink book BLM below 128 may indicate a rich condition. I also have 42.5 lb injectors and mine runs rich too. I run 40psi f.p. at idle with vac line off. I'm ok at idle but otherwise too rich ever since I put in the injectors. I don't really know what the solution is. Your BLM are even lower than mine though...The Translator + I believe has the ability to correct that problem. www.fullthrottlespeed.com

Check for a vacuum leak. I would start around the egr valve area. For some reason I've had several leaks in this area over the years. Razor has written some excellent posts on tracking BLM problems. Put his name and blm in the search engine and you should get some good info.
