Boost Drop?

I have finnally wired up my alcohol kit and did nothing else. I have been running around 19-20 lbs before I wired the kit, now with the alcohol spray the boost dropped to 13-14 lbs. What did I do to lower the boost?

BOOST IN THE TOILET

Sounds like you have too much alky going in and you are "putting the fire out"!!
Where are you beginning the spray? [Boost level to turn on??]
Most likely don't need the alky below 10-12 psi. Also, where is the pump speed set?
Try to set "spray on" at 10psi and the pump at about 3/4 way on the control.
Watch for knok and if none, or if the engine bogs at the onset of spray, start lowering the pump speed til you get no bog [or knok.]

If you have an EGT meter, what's it reading? Should be over 1500. If it's low, then the alky volume is too high.
This method may vary some, depending on the version of the kit that you have.
