For one reason or another my brake light keeps coming on. I had a bit to much fluid in the master cylinder due to letting someone else bleed the system.

Anyway, I purged that in a parking lot around here and got the level normal. I have been checking the entire thing everyday since this started and it appears the pressure motor wont shut off. I disconnected the switch that goes to the pressure switch and this seems to solve the problem.

So my question is, how bad is it to drive around with that plug disconnected? I just drove it through the garage and the pedal seems just fine without that switch hooked up. I can buy a new switch but the weather is so nice I want to be out driving the car while the switch is in transit.

Is this a bad thing to do?

You are flirting with disaster. The motor pressurizes the system. You will ultimately loose your brakes.
