Brake problem

I have a 87 Grandnational i have no power brakes red light is on dash and motor runs continuiosly with the key on i replaced ball accumulator with a new one and that didt work any help out there.

Sounds like the same problem I was having. I just ordered a rebuilt unit. If you are diagnosing your problem, a great problem solving tree to follow is located below:

If I had to take a guess , sounds like your motor may be bad. You may have to invest in the J35126 tool to know for sure. You should be able to find one on eBay for about $40 to$60. I spent th last 2 to 3 months messing with my p.m. And I am on my 3 rebuilt unit. I will be installing it tomorrow, hopefully this works correctly.

Convert it to a vacuum set up and be done with it.
