HI guys! Im new to this posting idea but i have been reading the posts for over a year. My name is Mark Lozano im 21 y/o, college student, and in dead love with my GN. It all started when my dad first bought the car in 1986, as we were driving off the lot the first light we hit a brand new corvette pulled up. The light when green and the BGN killed it, made it look like a dot in the rear view! every sense then i was in love. My pops made me wait till i was 20 to get my liecense! 20 y/o! man i can't he did that to me, but it was well worth the wait! When i got it i emeditly went to the street races with it and started making some big money. Only mods i had at the time were TA-60 turbo, 42lb inject, TH DP, cat back, and K&N. But were i really made my money was tranny and suspension. Don from DRW built my tranny (THX DON UR THE MAN!) i also bought an art car 3800 stall, and shift kit. As for suspension i was(and still am) running a full hotchicks setup. That being front and rear sway, and 6 peice trailing arm kit. That was enough for me to break off basically everything at the races. Only lost 2 or 3 times total. And i took home over 4 grand! well thats my story, all ecept for the running from the cops story, but ill save that for another day. Now im 21 and rebuild my motor cus i blew my wrist pins :(

Welcome to the dark side, DarkSide. The Turbo Regal ("TR" in board-speak) has a way of really getting a hold of you. Most everyone here has the jones big time. There is a whale of a lot of fantastic techical expertise on this board. A little bit of wholesale nonsense, too. So take the information with a little grain of salt and apply your common sense. If you have a technical question, try the search feature here and you'll likely see a good number of posts about it already. If not, feel free to post it here and you'll almost always get a good number of answers.

Saw your post in the Southwest section too. Unfortunately, here in car-crazed So Cal, the state of the TR community is somewhat lacking. Steve Hurst is trying his best to keep the interest up in the BGNRA. Lou Czarnota is one of Orange County's reigning guru's in Lake Forest. Neal Steward dispenses the real dope down in San Diego.

i got all those guys covered....ive be BGNRA member sense my dad was in early 90's, and steve is a cool guy! Lou has done some work to my car, he's very smart when it comes to TR. i actually live like 20 min away from lou's shop.
