A must for the weekend racer! It helps to keep the engine from twisting under acceleration. Easy to install and just as easy to remove when you don't want it on the engine. Since it's an elastic strap, there's no danger of breaking any engine mounts since the elastic will give (a solid metal type of torque strap wouldn't allow any give). It's a ratchet design, so the strap is adjustable. Comes with a special eye bolt that replaces your top alternator bolt. The other end clamps into an existing hole in your frame.
Remember, the less your engine shakes, the less chance for it to set off your detonation detector which in turn retards the timing!
