BRAND NEW TWIN TURBO v6 BUICK

I was watching motorweek today, and they were doing a segment on some auto show. Well anyways they showed a new convertable buick, I THINK, it was called the veliate or something like that. I can't be to sure i was multi tasking at the time and lost most information. But I HEARD the announcer say TWIN TURBO v6 buick, then i turned around and saw a pretty decent looking convertable. Can anyone back this?

loked on PBS.org under motorweek, found nothing, did a general web search still nothing. But that means nothing. I hope they do with everyine else making all these retro cars like the GTO, the '05 mustang etc. I'll keep trying to find out!

How cool would it be if in a couple years from now that engine happened to show up in a RWD Buick sedan or coupe package....all black of course.

True. I was just thinking of a more practical everyday, bread and butter car, like a Regal. The Velite is clearly upscale.

It is a nice ride though.

I've read on various threads about this. One guy posted from Australia and "knows" someone inside. Basically, he said that the concept wasn't far off from what they have been told regarding engines and something like "the 3.6 liter v6 will have a single turbo" at least (concept had twin turbo).

They have 2 3.6 liter v6's: One is standard issue pushrod (High value), and the other is OHC VVT (high feature). I believ there is talk of a 3.9 liter v6.

Hopefully this is a new beginning.

I'm thinking GTO production here in 2 years , and.........GS????
