bucket seat buns/upolstery interchangeable L to R?

Hey guys.... bought a set of GN buckets. Seats are in decent overall shape.... but the drivers side seat bottom is worn and the seat bun (foam under the upolstery) is worn. I have located a passenger seat bottom with a good bun and good upolstery. Will this work? Is there any difference between seat fabric? Can I just swap the hole bottom? .... at a minimum... I would like to be able to buy this good passenger seat bottom.... and tear my drivers seat bottom apart and replace it with the passenger seat bun and upolstery....

I really don't want to buy a new seat bun and upolstery... when I could do something like this....

Does this make any sense?

I should have the used passenger seat bottom late this week. I hope to have my drivers seat bottom torn down and replace the bun and upolstery with the one comming with this used passenger seat bottom I have coming. Hopefully it will sit and look great. I'll keep y'all updated.
