Bucking in 1st gear

Well I got the hood latch fixed and installed my walbro 340 tonight, and it runs pretty hard. Well accept that in 1st gear it seems to buck. The other night i messed with the cam sensor could it be off now, i moved it around a couple of notches each way, I was thinking that it could be air in the fuel lines, but I'm not sure. What else, fuel pressure is 45 with line off and the tps is .44 and 4.92 at WOT, 1 degree of knock and O2s in the low 800s. The tranny shifts really early wit the TV cable back all the way, and then it suddenly started acting normal. Thinking it was a stuck TCC i unplugged the tranny. It eventually went back to shifting early . So maybe it could be the tranny screwing up, but i don't know, in 2nd and 3rd it pulls hard, could it be over boosting in 1st? It an 87 ecm now with a thrasher 92. Thanks.

ok now that i think of it, it can't be the tranny because if i drop into first is still bucks in first gear, i'm gonna change the plugs and mess with the cam sensor timing. I also have a burnt plug wire , these things are hard to keep from that up pipe.

Your fuel press seems high to me at 45psi , i stayed about 40psi with mine and if i want higher it would slow up a little and run bad. Could be the cam sensor but with mine if it was off a little it would backfire alot so i dont think it is that. Probley some thing easy like plugs and wires.

Thanks for the reply, i did the plugs and put a new wire where the #4 had burnt, and now it runs strong, I'm running that amount of fuel pressure because I'm being safe right now and just testing the water. I now know that the wastegate on it is bad because its all the way untreaded and it overboost and kinda falls flat, but if I keep it at 3/4 throttle and let it hit 17 or so, it flies, it almost feels as strong as my 87, so its getting there. Thanks.
