Sup fellas,

Well, I need tires for both sets of 16" GTA's.......time to spend some money. I had a deal for 4 lightly used Bridgestone Potenza RE930s, 245/50ZR16s, for 160 bucks, but I was second in line for them.:( Other guy took em.

So, I priced the same tire brand new, list is 173 each, but I can get them for 127 each in the 245/50ZR16. Free mounting and balance, and no interest and no payments for 90 days.

My question is......should I run a 225/55ZR16 up front and a 245/50ZR16 out back, or run 4 245/50ZR16s all the way around? (GN) The car sits kinda low. Right now its got some Michelin Pilot 225/50R16s on the front, and they arent tall enough, and it looks funny. They were free, so Im not complaining. I have seen 225/55s on the front of a TR (stock ride height) with GTAs and it looked nice from what I can remember? Anyone have any pictures?

*Heres a picture of the GN with the 225/50s up front and my old 245/50 Nitto Drag Radials on the back.......the fronts look too small!

On the Ttype, I have Sumitomo HTRZ 245/50R16s on the front (rear GTAs with spacer) with some cheeeep asss balddd assss 255/50R16s on the rear (front GTAs). The Sumitomo's are still somewhat okay, I could probably get another summer out of them. But the 245s rub pretty bad up front, I cant turn the wheel full-lock. I was thinking about doing a 225/55R16 on the front of it. I was thinking about just moving the 245 Sumitomo's to the rear and buying a pair of new Sumitomo 225/50R16s for the fronts. Plus, I plan on doing a 2" drop spindle this spring on the car. I dont know..........any input or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas.

I run 225 60 16s on the front and 255 50 16 Sumitomo HTRZs on the rear. If you want super "out of the hole" traction......get the Sumitomos. 255 50 16s to avoid that sqatty, undertired, look! ;)
