Camaro oil filter

Neighbor kid has a 94 Camaro V6 that calls for the Delco PF47 like the GNs. Any reason he couldn't upgrade to a PF52/equivalent ?

Should work just fine. I use a PF52 in place of a 47 on my daily driver Regal GS.
