Was using the Felpro stock style head gaskets and after about 2 years, started leaking water into the #1 cylinder. Never really ran over 18 lbs and compression was always good. The composite portion of the head gasket started a little burn and eventually gave way to water leaking in. Can I use the copper head gaskets even if neither the block nor the heads are o-ringed? Just looking for something that won't burn thru even if I want to turn up the boost. Just installed an SMC alky kit (never even got to turn up the boost) and want to eventually run about 22 lbs. Should I go copper or go back to Felpro?
