can i use this in alkycontrol system

We have 55 gal drums and gallon jugs of tractor trailer air brake antifreeze at work. Label says 98%
Methanol. Has anyone used this will it be ok in a alkycontrol kit. Don't know what other 2% of contents
Are trying to dig up the msds sheet
Just wondering if it will work cause I'm sure I can borrow some cheap

I believe so. As long as the 2% is not oil. If the methanol dries up clean, or doesnt leave any oily residue.. give it a whirl

Yeah dries nice and clean no residue.
Label says over 98% meth.
So I figure its meth and the other 1% or so is water and the blue dye.
Ill have to download the msds when I get home and see if its got any more info on it
