A bunch of us went to NED last night. The weather was cool but the track sucked for traction. They said the track was prepped for big weekend outing.

Everyone was running slow :(

Myself - GN 14:00 @ 97mph
Pronto -T 13.30 @ 101 mph
AL - TTA - 13.20
Granitstate - GN - 13:30
Unknown - TTA - 12:11
Blue 80's camaro with GN motor 11:70 :)

Honorable Fun Cars to see
Twin turbo Supra 11.2 at 119mph
Monte Carlo 8.70 at 155 :):):)
80's Iroc z with 305 & a turbo 10:50

Big Steve checking in here

Yes and no.

Yes, one will not ET as good if the track is not right - most of your 1/4 mile time is in the first few hundred feet, your 60' times should tell.

No, meaning that in the cool weather your engine should be happy and your MPH should be about as good as usual.

Some of the motorcycle guys said the track had too much stickum at mid track and it was slowing them down making them wheelie. As the night cooled down we all went a little faster but I didn't see the time I thought I would:(

Pronto the annoucer called your silver T a GN what a dope. They sometimes really suk at New england dragway

too much VHT will generally only affect the first 5-6 sets of cars the first time out because they will either pull the VHT up onto their tires or cover it up with fresh rubber. I would say maybe to the first couple of runs but not after that.
