Can someone ID turbo please

I was told that this turbo is a TE-63, but I'd like to verify it.
All I know is that it says Garrett on it, but I can't find a site that has this turbo.

Does this look familiar with anyone?

Im not a turbo expert but the exhaust side looks a little too small to be a te-63 I'd say Te-44 but im not too sure

This one looks like yours except you have the on center exhaust housing.

I dont see any reason to believe its not a 63. There appears to be more meat on the inlet then the 70 that is seen in the link above, which means its not as big.

Externally, our turbos generally use 1 of 3 different housings, so everything else including all the numbers are basically useless.

So how do I find out what it really is? Why do the numbers not matter? Would it help if I take measurements?
