Hey guys,

In the past week or 2, my car has randomly died on me a time or 3, and come close a few other times. Then jsut a few days ago, while driving on the interstate, it hiccuped, almost died, and then the SES light came on. IT drove fine after that, and the vitals were good (oil press, temp, etc) so i kep driving it. Then last night, it refused to start at all... i got it started fine this morning, but I decided to check the codes and see whats going on. Its giving a code 42 and code 44. I had a printout showing what each code meant, but I cant seem to find it at home, or on GNTtype.org Any help figuring out what the problem is would be appreciated. I have ordered and am awaiting delivery of a new walbro 340 from racetronix but I wanna make sure the rest of my motor is in good working order before i go through the effort of installing the new pump. Oh, and as of right now, its pretty much a stock 85 motor, the only thing i cn tell thats been done to it, is it has been converted to teh 87 style-coil... everything else still seems to be stock. And i dont have a scanmaster or anything (stock computer) so i dont have any mroe info to go on. Thanks for all teh help guys.

Ahhh, thats the page I was looking for, thanks! So the code 44 doesnt surprise me, I get knock very easily, and my car falls flat on more than half throttle, so I was figureing i had some fueling issues (part of why i got the new pump coming). I don't know jack about the EST code though.... can anyone shed some light on what all that means?
