Did already. Well aware the N/a block is the same except the oil return. I assumed the 87 block was FI not carbbed so iam not sure what's in it

It should be a 109 block.

If it hasn't been swapped out for something else, it is going to be a 109. I have gotten 109's from an 87 na regal as well as an 86 g body pontiac. Just verify the numbers on the block. Counterman.

Ditto. Look at the block, if the last 3 numbers are 109, then you're good to go.

I just pulled one from an '86 Cutlass last weekend. It was a carburetor model and a 109 block.
