Anybody have anything good or bad to say about ceramic front disc pads?Bruce

I put on the Napa drilled & slotted rotors plus their ceramic pads and I perceived a definite improvement. If nothing else, at least I can drive around the block without having to clean brake dust off of my wheels afterward!

I am going the cross drilled rotor/ceramic pad route this winter on my GN. I find that after 2 good hard brakes from 100mph my fronts go up in smoke. I'm not interested in modifying my car with tubular a-arms and larger rotors so I figured I'd go with the best possible replacement parts. Though I have no experience with the ceramic pads yet, they can't possibly be any worse than what I got now. I think they may wear rotors down quicker but a good set of cross drilled performance rotors have a lot more meat on them then regular replacement rotors anyways.

I switched over to ceramic from semi-metalic pads and noticed a big difference in stopping power and also less brake dust. It takes about two weeks to accumulate brake dust vs everyday build up. But the price is about double over semi or metalic pads. The ones I am using are Raybestoes Quite stops ceramic pads.

tminer, do you have the part numbers for those rotors and pads? My GN is about due for a set of front brakes.
TIA
Steve
