Just wondering, I'm putting a Pioneer Cd changer in my '92 SSE and don't want to run any wires out of the trunk if I don't have to. I know the remote "eye" will be on the dash but can I keep the power wire and antena hookup in the trunk? My power ant. doesn't work so I was thinking about tapping a "hot" wire from it and just plugging the ant. box into the antenna itself. Will this work?

I am assuming that this is an FM modulated changer. As long as you can provide:

1) + 12 volts
2) + 12 volts switched (i.e. ignition)
3) - ground

You can install the box in rear with the changer and plug the modulated input into the antenna feed.

Thanks Audiowizard

Thanks for the reply, man. Yes, this is an FM modulated changer. I'm not worried about the power antenna working so I was hoping to use a hot wire from it.
