changing a valve body

how hard is it to do? for some reason i have more confidence in me changing it than i have my tranny shop in changing it.

i know the valve body in my car right now only has one electrical switch, but they drilled a hole and put the other switch in anyways.. i have a feeling that the screwed me over pretty good when they did that.

any help is appericated..

It's not very difficult.

Use our Trans-Scat valve body kit instructions as a guide. Pay attention to the orientation of the clip connecting the manual valve in the valve body to the manual shift linkage in the case.

Also, pay attention to your checkball locations as they vary with different valve body kits.
