collision repair and asking price?

I've been looking at 4th gens, (don't worry, I'm still keeping the GN) and finally found one I like, the guy is super anal about the car's maintenance, and it really looks better than new.

We agree on a price a couple hundred below private party blue book, and edmund's TMV. He also has a few mods, mabe worth $1500.

Then he calls a little later saying he forgot to tell me he was hit in the rear quarter panel, nothing too major, he also says the rear quarter was replaced, I guess the glass, spoiler, bumper cover and door are original or undamaged.

Is replacing a quarter panel on an f-body a major job, cause it's a uni-body? Should I ask about him dropping the price or even walk away from the deal?

replacing panels is no big deal if your competent. It may only have been a small ding, or it might have been a complete quarter but either way it will be good or bad.

the way your talking i'm guessing you cant get to see the car ? if you have been to see it and didn't even notice it then dont worry
If you havent been to see it, get some photo's.

to be honest i wouldnt worry about it, it's no big deal, ask where he had the work done, get their phone number and give them a ring ?
