I know the GM color code was 19u, but did it have a name, like Onyx or Tuxedo black. Anyone...

19U : PRIMARY COLOR, EXTERIOR, LAMP BLACK (91) this is the base color with no variants., and there were many variants......

HOWEVER, for a '86 '87 GN the paint code is more likely to be :
Black 19/WA5118
