Control Box Mounting

Looking for some ideas where everyone with a SMC kit is mounting the control unit. Want to keep it somewhat out of view to maintain a stock appearance.

Hi Bob,

I mounted mine in the glove box. Totally out of sight, and not too hard to reach for tuning!

Mine was a DIY set up, So *I* did have enough cable to reach. With the SMC kit I would think that if you have enough cable to reach the dashboard per the instructions, you would for this, too. I ran them through the hole in the firewall below the heater box... I never said it was "easy!"

I have seen them mounted in the center console. It's pretty common among the alky guys that i know. However... i dont know who's alky kit they all use, but its worth a shot to at least measure it.
