Converter Check-up or not?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of getting my trans re-built. It does not have a hard part failure I THINK. I believe it's only clutches and band causing it to slip. Question is, if it's only clutches and band, do I need to send the converter back to Dusty to have it checked out? Or, does the filter catch all debris?

Just got a call back from Dusty himself. He informed me what to look for in making that decision.
