Converting back to lockup question??

to convert back does it matter if the check ball and the little cover is in the shaft or can I just put the o-ring back on?

When Lonnie Diers changed mine back to lock up, he left the check ball out. My EA Stage II shifts fine but with a very firm feel. I'm running a PTS 9X11 billet convertor.

you can run fine without the check , it will just lockup quicker . dynotech used to pull them on their lockups
you do need to replace the oring
