Best pass of the weekend:

12.01
114.5 MPH
1.90 60'

Never went slower than 110mph or 12.3x,got a pile of 12.1x and 12.2x slips, mostly right around 113.Was running BFG drag radials and couldn't hook up for sh!t.Best 60' of the weekend was a 1.8 but Dennis's stage car got out of shape in front of me and ended up in my lane, taking out the timing cones:(.

It's nice to know that i'm a set of slicks away from 11.7x's anyway...

Hey Sean! Congrats on the new best time!

Are you still running a Hot-Air, or has the car been converted? What size DR's are you running?

-Tired as hell Gm replacement shortblock w/120K
-port matched heads
-port matched intake
-208 cam
-Lee Thompson headers/3" DP
-Bored throttle body
-42.5# injectors
-LT1 maf
-Limit Engineering TA-61
-16 position Maxeffort chip
-Spearco front mount

There's more in it with some more octane too:cool: .I had mostly C16 mixed with some pump gas, with pure C16 I could probably squeak out another couple PSI.

Best runs were with 24º and 25-26 PSI.

I also realized that I never locked the convertor all weekend, that probably would've got me the extra 1/10th I wanted:rolleyes: prolly some more MPH too.

Next I'm gonna pull the throttle body off the turbo and plumb it into the intercooler pipe.Removing the intake restriction should be worth some power.

congrats Sean. I look forward to seeing this car in the future! I wanna race side by side, IC v. H.A., and see what combo reeks the most havoc on the track! I just read the newest version of the GMHTM, and they have a NJ TR running damn good RT's and 60's with the mickey T's on the rear. Have you tried any other tires? Do you run 15" ers on the rear? I am looking for a new set of rims for my rear end, maybe a set of the draglites, but that is in the distant future...I just want a running TR!!!

Congrats on the awesome times!

John

Yeah,I actually borrowed a set of Hoosier QT pros from a guy at the track, but my Weld lugnuts wouldn't work with them and nobody had any stock lugnuts handy:rolleyes:

I'll stop being a cheap ass and buy some real slicks soon...

Suspension helps to for hooking what rear sway bar do you have? I had the atr sway bar on the rear with the 60 foot times I have listed. I have actually had a couple better 60's then the pass that netted the 11.65. I really like the Mikey thompson et streets 28x11.5x15 for the track. Just what we have had good luck with. That is with about 16-17 #'s of air in them. I will be trying h and r parts sway bar as soon as we have all the bugs worked out here shortly. The season is slipping by ever so quickly. Great Job though I know you have been working really hard on this project. :D

your car is a turd.........oops did i say that out loud........we could have found you some nuts........lug nuts that is you have a gf to find the others..........

I asked 50 times,nobody had any,including you ya no-nut havin spud-head! ;)

I shoulda stole yours when you were at Schwabs...:D
