As long as the tank is plastic, no problems. Now the fittings have to be changed to brass instead of aluminum.
I use the econo rail 4 gallon Jazz one on my car.. no problems. The reason I chose this was becuase its bottom is flat and doesnt have a sump which would require making a big hole in the trunk. Add low level, brass bulkhead with poly washers.. and vent it to the fuel door..
The pump can get quirky. Your AEM cannot deliver the current requirement to run the pump, meaning the pump at full tilt can draw 13-15 AMPs of current.. and that means the driver in the AEM has to be able and handle 45 amps as inductive(motor) loads can spike the current hard. If the pump draws 13 amps, it will blow your AEM controller.
You can run a digital hi-current relay off of the AEM, but thats on you. Typically most of my customers run the controller I sell.. their thoughts are if it where to damage they controller from excessive draw, their computer would be spared. I've not had a blown controller yet.. but it doesnt mean that it cant happen.
Plan on building the setup for straight methanol, you can always go to mix if you choose that route. The system will be overkill.. but not an issue.
