R rastaz aka 80's Rob Joined May 26, 2001 May 13, 2002 #1 Do the early turbo 3.8 cars 78-83 have the good cranks with the rolled fillets on the rod journals like the 84-87's do? If so will they work in an 87 intercooled motor? Are they a different part # than the 84-87 cranks? TIA

G gunnervirus My Car's Too Loud... Joined May 29, 2001 May 13, 2002 #2 When I rebuilt my engine, the crank had rolled fillet on the rod journals. I think an older crank would work just fine. Hope this helps... Ben
