Have had it w/ the antique OE, and have dl'd Firefox Thunderbird for my email.
This 10 y/o pc is running XP Pro.
Issue is, I have Tbird trying to dl 9300 old emails off the server.
I've tried the Google solutions, settings, etc, all to no avail.

I've set the email properties to "delete emails off the server", not save them. {just did this. So, that's where I got the 9300!}:(
NE1 know a way to dump these 9300 PERMANENTLY???

Do you have any way to access the emails other than through your POP/IMAP account? I assume it is probably POP3?

What is the service where the emails are? Your own ISP?

Actually I will PM you.

Pop3. I assume they are on the server at Bellsouth.net. The email addy is codymspt@bellsouth.net
Thanks for the help!

Try Start - My Computer - C: - Users - "your name" - AppData - Local - Microsoft - OE - then look for xml or eml files, maybe pst files

Thanks all....Got it corrected... Did a restore to Wed am, virus scan, disc cleanup, registry scan, and all's back to "normal"!When I get time, I'm switching over to the new lt, and doing away w/ this antique.:bucktooth:

Now, back to learning WIN10 on the new lt.....
