Digital vs analog

My 87 GN originally had the digital
Instrument cluster. I would like to switch to analog but have a few questions. I have either the factory dash harness or one from a plain 86 regal. I planed on using the 86 harness but I would like to add a factory tach, is a tach signal wire already in the harness or do I need to add one. Are digital and analog harnesses the same?

You would need to switch dash harnesses. There are significant differences between digital and analog. If the 86 didn't have the V6 with CCCI, you won't have the tach wire; easily added though. And, you won't have the CCCI fuse feed, something to consider.

Thanks, I figured they would be different, does anyone sell a kit with factory tach and wiring?
